I started doing my nails 3 years ago, and as you can see, I've made major improvements! In my 'then' picture (from my very first set), my nails have very uneven application, little to no design, and inconsistent length/shape. I've gone from that to even application, designs, cateye polish, and consistent length/shape across all my nails that can be seen in my 'now' picture. I think my biggest improvement is just an overall understanding of gel application. When I first started, I didn't understand gel AT ALL. But now, after all these years of practice, my layers of polish are smooth, thin, and opaque. A huge lesson I've learned is to just be persistent and to love the little imperfections so I can better learn from them. It's easy to look at a set and be frustrated by the little things that aren't 'just right', but I've learned to look at my nails and instead see the progress I've made and learn from my mistakes so I can continue to grow!
