I own the rechargeable e file nail drill the one without the pack and I use it all the time along with my plug in melodysusie dust collector and filters. Both make it so much easier and more convenient and comfortable to do my own nails. I also use the milk and honey cuticle oil and the cuticle remover and both are a definite must have for me. My  next investment will most likely be the rechargeable clip on nail drill and a few different polishes too. I love melodysusie , happy birthday melodysusie

I started out in this wonderful world of nails simply as a hobby back in 2022. I began because I wanted to learn the art of 3D nail design—something I love creating—and over time, I have refined both my application technique and every detail of my work. I am still learning the nail drill any suggestions so i dont tear up my nails I have the Scamander white nail drill.

#ThenVsNowChallenge #melodysusie #MelodySusie17thAnniversary I started doing my nails 3 years ago, and as you can see, I've made major improvements! In my 'then' picture (from my very first set), my nails have very uneven application, little to no design, and inconsistent length/shape. I've gone from that to even application, designs, cateye polish, and consistent length/shape across all my nails that can be seen in my 'now' picture. I think my biggest improvement is just an overall understanding of gel application. When I first started, I didn't understand gel AT ALL. But now, after all these years of practice, my layers of polish are smooth, thin, and opaque. A huge lesson I've learned is to just be persistent and to love the little imperfections so I can better learn from them. It's easy to look at a set and be frustrated by the little things that aren't 'just right', but I've learned to look at my nails and instead see the progress I've made and learn from my mistakes so I can continue to grow!

My nail journey started a little over a year ago I had been struggling being out of work due to health reasons and i was really depressed the days just seemed to bleed into one another. I was on tiktok and i saw an add for a nail kit and it peeked my interest but was unsure about it but then i kept seeing it and i had tried my hand at nails in the past but didnt have much time for it so i thought why not i have the time so i bought the kit and got really excited was trying all different colors and designs and i found alot of happiness in doing my nails i just kept doing them every day for fun and got really into it started watching alot of tutorials joined some Facebook groups found my people and community and here we are today still having fun and enjoying learning new things sharing my nails with friends and uplifting others nails . I am grateful to have a place in this community and will continue to strive to do my best! #ThenVsNowChallenge
