I started doing nails in 2020. My mum and I wanted to save money and be able to do our nails whenever we wanted. So when the pandemic hit and my mum found this thing called ' polygel' ok Facebook, we started doing some research and ordered everything we needed to start. I have been always fascinated by 3d art but 3d flowers seem so so hard for me to learn. I learned along the way that a lot of things seem easier when it's done by someone else or someone that is more skilled or has been doing it for years. I needed to humble myself a lot of time because I was expecting too much and trying to be 'perfect' while I was still learning and in the beginning phase. I know now that if I want something done right I need to practice and take my time. Stop comparing myself to others and try until I make it or can proudly say ' I gave my best'. I've also noticed that things that don't work out at a certain time might worked out later. So being patient, practicing and doing things at my own pace is way more beneficial to me than rushing through and being frustrated when I fail. Photos are from 2021 and 2026 #ThenVsNowChallenge

For a long time, my family was the only part of my life I felt truly excited to share with the world. As a wife and mom of four, they have always been my heart. Then I found nails—and discovered a little dream that was just mine. 💕 My nail journey has been filled with practice, mistakes, small wins, and learning to believe in myself. From getting a French tip right to improving my brush control, every little improvement reminds me why I started. I want to create beautiful nails that help someone feel confident and proud of themselves. MelodySusie has been part of that journey as I practice and grow. Using their products gives me opportunities to try new ideas and share my progress, even while I’m still learning. Building my supplies on a budget hasn’t always been easy, so the contests and opportunities to get involved mean so much to me. Becoming a MelodySusie affiliate is a special milestone. I’m excited to share the designs I create, the lessons I learn, and the products I use along the way. My family will always be my heart, but nails have given me another passion to share—and I’m building that dream one set at a time. 💅✨
