I wish I knew that every nail type is different. What works on one person may not work on another. Once I started adjusting my method based on nail type and lifestyle, my retention became SO much better.

Finding one thing was very hard. I think it would have saved me painful moments and a few tears if I only new that peel of base coat existed and what it was for. That I could use it to make my removals way easier and keep my nails healthy and strong. I used to do my nails 2 or 3 stones a week because I would love o try different things and techniques and each time I would soak off my nails with acetone or remove the enhancement with a nail drill leaving my nails very thin. Washing dishes or hands, touching luke warm, hot or cold water would feel like my hands were on fire 🔥. I now try to do my nails every two to three weeks and also use a silicone practice hand. And if I do want to change my design frequently I make sure to use some peel off base coat. 🤭
