Okay Be Honest… Cuticle Oil or No?

So one of my friends told me you’re not supposed to use cuticle oil when you have a nail set on, because it can make some nails lift early… and it ACTUALLY happened to her! 😬
I’m pretty new to doing my own nails and I just finished a fresh set, so now I’m kinda nervous lol.
Is this actually true?
Do you still use cuticle oil with a set on, or do you avoid it?
Honestly begging for some advice😭

I wait a day after a fresh set, then use oil like normal. No problems so far.

A little oil is fine. Just don’t flood the cuticle area.

Hi, I always use cuticle oil to moisturize my own nails and those of my clients. I apply it carefully only to the cuticle area after the service, and it's never lifted. 😉

For me lifting was more about prep, not oil.

I’d be more worried about dry cuticles than oil honestly.
