Thanks! I didn't actually do a "cat-eye" effect—I simply applied a chrome effect. 😉 To achieve it, I applied a matte gel; once cured, I thoroughly wiped it down with alcohol, applied a black gel, cured it for just 15 seconds, and finally, applied the chrome effect.
