Chrome nails chipping

Hey MelodySusie fam!
I'm having some trouble with my chrome nails chipping, especially at the tips. 😫 I make sure to prep the nails well, but I still get some chipping after just a day or two.
Any tips on the issue?

I’ve seen people double top coat, making sure to cap the free edge both times.

You might want to try capping the free edge with your top coat—helps seal it better. 😊

Sometimes, if the gel polish isn’t fully cured, it can cause the chrome to peel or chip. You might want to double-check that the gel is completely cured before applying the chrome powder. It can really help the chrome adhere better and last longer!

If you’re using a powder chrome, make sure to seal the tips with a thin layer of the powder and then a top coat.

Try using a higher-quality chrome powder top coat. Maybe your top coat is difficult to maintain.
