Did you know…

Most nail damage doesn’t happen during wear.

It happens during removal.

Rushing the process, over-filing, or forcing product off can weaken the natural nail over time and lead to thinning or peeling.

Taking a little extra care during removal makes all the difference in keeping nails healthy 💛

Healthy Removal Should Look Like:

• Gently file the top layer to break the seal without over-thinning, leaving a thin layer of gel to protect your nail.

• Allow enough soak time so the product softens properly

• Let the product lift naturally instead of forcing it off (Don't violently peel it!)

• Use light, controlled pressure when pushing off gel

• Keep e-file speed and pressure low to avoid heat and friction

Small technique changes can protect nail integrity long term and improve every set that follows ✨

What’s one removal habit you’ve improved recently? 👀

I’ve been filing less aggressively and my nails don’t feel as thin now.

I've experienced all of them. I just had to remove my extensions, it was time for a new set anyways but I was having lifting issues and hit my nail while cleaning that it almost ripped off and it hurt soo bad I couldn't do anything before getting it fixed 😮‍💨.

I used to force the gel off 😭 now I just let it lift and my nails feel way better.
