It's coffee Time! Our topic for the Small Coffee Talk today is...
Nail Lifting!
Nail Lifting is always an issue that every nail lover wants to avoid.
Every professional has their own experience in preventing lifting in the first place.
Today, MelodySusie'd like to ask about our members' perceptions on this specific issue.
- What do you think is the main reason your nails lift?

The first step is to thoroughly clean the cuticle area and file the nail using a 240-grit file.
Carefully remove any excess dust, then apply a dehydrator and a nail primer.
Furthermore—and this is crucial—once the preparation is complete, avoid touching the nail surface to prevent recontamination and ensure that the preparatory work remains intact. Likewise, when applying the product—whether it be gel, polygel, hard gel, or acrylic—avoid letting it touch the cuticle area; if it comes into contact with the cuticle and is not completely removed, it will also lead to premature lifting.
But it also depends on the lifestyle of the person/ client.
• sanitize the hands
•push back the cuticles
•remove dead skin from the nail plate
•remove shine and oils
•file with an 180 grit file if I am applying gel or any other extensions
• making sure the base gel / rubber base/ gel ... is not touching the skin when applied
•making sure there is no lint, dirt, make up whatsoever sticking onto the base or gel ( that's why the hands must always stay on the table )
And other than that remembering that 'Nails are not tools'
Infills every 2,5 to 3 weeks depending on the length.
😬
1. Push cuticle back
2. Use cuticle ball
3 . Softly shape my nails
5. 120 or 240 sanding bands
7. Dehydrate/Prime
( Any Further Steps Depends on the type of nail enhancement)
