What’s your prep routine? I basically do Russian dry manicure prep! I do polygel and gel x

I typically dehydrate, prime, and file to remove shine, but it sounds like your Russian dry manicure prep might be more thorough. I’ll have to look into that technique.

Is it because the poly gel, base coat, or primer are not compatible? Try to use them from the same brand🤔

I did use products from the same brand, but I'll keep this in mind for next time.

Might check if the gel has overflowed to the skin and was not properly cleaned?🤔

Check if your UV/LED lamp has the correct wattage (36W+ recommended) and ensure the gel is fully cured. Under-curing can cause the product to lift or pop off.

Maybe you can try doubling up on your dehydrator, and primer. Also, you want to try not to stretch the polygel too much. What I mean by that is you want to use your brush to gently pat it into place rather than stroking it on.

Thanks so much for the advice! I’ll definitely try doubling up on the dehydrator and primer. Also, I’ll be more mindful of how I apply the poly gel – I was definitely stretching it a bit too much. I really appreciate your tips, and I’ll give it another go with this in mind!
